ON THE SOUTH FORK AND IN THE SIERRAS

DREW VINSON (TECH, 2013) is diving into summer– camping in Kings Canyon, rafting on the American River and maybe Klamath, backpacking on the John Minor Trail– and thinking about what shape the future might be, how he can combine his interest in medicine with his love of the outdoors when he begins college at UC Davis this Fall.

When Drew returns from a week in the National Park and 2 weeks in the Sierras, he will be an assistant leader on an environmental education trip aimed at helping mostly inner city and disadvantaged youth gain confidence and build leadership skills through a wilderness experience. The Youth LEAD Camp adventures are sponsored by Environmental Traveling Companions (ETO).
