JAMIE ZIMMER (Vocal 2016) returns to SF ArtsEd this summer, this time as an intern in their summer program for kids ages 6-14.

Later this month, for one night only, she will be joining other SFArtsEd alumni and SOTA students in the Broadway classic “On the Town”, for a benefit performance to support this remarkable arts’ organization which has brought countless hours of instruction and enjoyment to over 200,000 students in the SFUSD since they first embarked on their mission of arts advocacy in 1965. “On the Town” will be directed by Danny Duncan, and accompanied by the 46-piece UC Berkeley Summer Symphony under the direction of Henry Shin.

Jamie recently appeared as Asaka, Mother of the Earth in "Once On This Island" produced by Spark of Creation Studio, where she will be spending the rest of her summer dancing in multiple classes led by Tahitian, Hula, and HipHop teachers, Marilou Lafon, Shanna Pineda, and Clint Calimlim. Spark of Creation Studio, located in South San Francisco, is passionate about dance, music, theater and performing arts education.

And apparently, so is Jamie!
